Dance Under Construction: The Choreographers

Scott Caywood has performed his own work and danced with many performers since coming to NYC in 1972. He was a member choreographer of The Construction Company and also performed with Carolyn Lord, Sally Bowden, Marjorie Gamso, Elaine Shipman and Situ. For five years he danced with the Katherine Litz Dance Company. He has also created sets and props for dance and theater. In recent years he has performed new works for both Music and Dance Under Construction. The last two works were Train of Thought, a dance-theater collaboration with composer Carolyn Lord and videographer Andrew Gurian. He has also worked on All the Glass Eyed Birds with music by composer Yuzuru Sadáshige.
