Paul Hindemith’s *Das Marienlebe* Soprano: Judith Kellock Choreographer: Joyce Morgenroth Pianist: Kirk Severtson Dancer: Risa Fujitsa Paul Hindemith’s Das Marienleben (The Life of Mary) is a passionate musical portrait of the life of Mary, emphasizing the love, perils, and grief of a mortal woman and mother. The idea to add dance to the musical performance led to a collaboration between two faculty members at Cornell University–soprano, Judith Kellock, of the Department of Music, and choreographer Joyce Morgenroth, of the Department of Theatre, Film & Dance.
